ABOUT & TEAM

UPnRIDE: Revolutionizing Mobility, Empowering Independence for Wheelchair Users.

About Us

UPnRIDE Robotics Ltd. was established in June 2014, driven by a team of seasoned experts who have pioneered groundbreaking innovations, including introducing the ReWalk™ exoskeleton.

UPnRIDE is a cutting-edge wheeled robotic device offering upright and seated mobility solutions for individuals with disabilities. It provides upright mobility in any urban environment: outdoors, indoors, on slopes, or on uneven surfaces.

In February 2020, the US FDA cleared the company’s Robotic Standing Wheelchair for marketing and use, making it available to wheelchair users and the elderly.

Utilizing UPnRIDE enables wheelchair users to accumulate significant standing time daily, enhancing health, quality of life, and social integration.

The Birth of the IDEA

Dr. Amit Goffer Leaves Lasting Legacy with Visionary Invention That Enables Individuals with Lower Limb Paralysis to Walk Again.

Following the success of ReWalk, which helped individuals paralyzed from the waist down to stand and walk, Dr Amit Goffer saw the need for a solution for those paralyzed from the neck down. In response, he created a new mobility solution that allows these individuals to move while standing. After years at ReWalk and contributing to its NASDAQ IPO, Dr. Goffer and Oren Tamari founded UPnRIDE and led the development of its groundbreaking technology, establishing UPnRIDE Robotics.
